Born beneath Orkney’s deep, starlit skies and inspired by the shimmer of the Mirrie Dancers, this limited-edition gin captures the mystery and magic of our special islands. The Mirrie Dancers - our local name for the Northern Lights - move in ribbons of light against the blackness of night, and it is from this contrast that Mirrie Dancer Gin draws its spirit and character.
Distilled slowly over a lengthy 48-hour process in small batches, this London Dry Gin brings together the brightness of Italian juniper with the depth of rare, dark botanicals - Medjool dates, blood orange, black lime, cacao, mulberry, and hand-foraged Orkney blackberries. Toasted Orkney hogweed seeds lend a lively green citrus lift, while smooth vanilla, tonka, and orris root add a soft, silken finish. It’s a gin of balance and contrast - dark and bright, rich and delicate, constantly moving and dancing as you enjoy - much like the lights that inspired it.
Each of the 250 bottles has been carefully distilled, hand-filled, and labelled in Orkney. The deep black label, inspired by its precursor, Sule Skerry’s isolated lighthouse, nods to our island’s serene night skies - a canvas of deep calm where the Mirrie Dancers weave their silent light - a quiet tribute to those who appreciate rarity and refinement. This is a collector’s spirit, made for those who see beauty in the darkness and brilliance in the details.

To be fully transparent, a total of 250 bottles of this gin have been hand-crafted and finessed. The 58 are the only bottles that will ever be available to the public this way. Not that you're really 'the public' - you're more special to us! The others have already been dispatched to their owners in a members' club and will not be available on the general market.

Standard Shipping takes around 3-6 days to UK Addresses, Speedy takes 2-5 days. We use Royal Mail and Parcelforce 48 hour, and 24 hour when choosing 'speedy', but as we are on the Orkney Islands, we normally estimate an extra 2 days on top of what is quoted. Please understand this delivery time is an estimate, and it is not a gurantee. It may take longer in busy periods such as Christmas. *Factors which may affect delivery times are: delays caused by weather, Royal Mail/Parcelforce delays outwith our control and shortage of stock/packaging (we will contact you if this happens).*
Your product will arrive carefully packaged in a cardboard box with fragile tape. Legally we must provide a sender address on parcels, so we name ourselves as OGC in this area to be more discreet in case its a gift.
