K‑Ola Old Tom (Botanic Cola Old Tom Gin Elixir)
A velvety, arcane elixir for those with a curious palate and a fondness for flavours touched by time. K‑Ola is a tribute to bygone apothecaries and creative concoctions - crafted entirely in our Burray distillery using our award-winning Sule Skerry Gin as its base. To this, we add our own homemade, all-natural cola syrup: a lovingly created infusion of roots, citrus, and warming botanicals.
This is not the cola you knew in your youth. K‑Ola is its grown-up cousin - layered, intriguing, and entirely unexpected. Subtly sweet, rich in character, and grounded in tradition, it invites you to taste a tale rather than just a tipple.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Nostalgic hints of caramelised cola, mellow citrus, Madagascan vanilla bean, and a soft earthiness - like the scent of an old herbal apothecary.
- Palate: Smooth and rounded with an almost rich caramel and umami depth, layered with botanical cola, bright citrus, and warming, familiar roots. Subtle sweetness gives way to the grounding touch of juniper, ever-present but never overpowering.
- Finish: Long and mellow, with softened vanilla and cinnamon, dry herbal complexity, and the faint echo of citrus peel.

This product can only be shipped within the UK and Channel Islands. For orders over 6 bottles please contact us directly.
Standard Shipping takes around 3-6 days to UK Addresses, Speedy takes 2-5 days. We use Royal Mail and Parcelforce 48 hour, and 24 hour when choosing 'speedy', but as we are on the Orkney Islands, we normally estimate an extra 2 days on top of what is quoted. Please understand this delivery time is an estimate, and it is not a gurantee. It may take longer in busy periods such as Christmas. *Factors which may affect delivery times are: delays caused by weather, Royal Mail/Parcelforce delays outwith our control and shortage of stock/packaging (we will contact you if this happens).*
Your product will arrive carefully packaged in a cardboard box with fragile tape. Legally we must provide a sender address on parcels, so we name ourselves as OGC in this area to be more discreet in case its a gift.
