Summer has been a whirlwind of community and celebration - starting with our adventures at The Highland Show, Local Shows and more - where we’ve been delighted to share a tipple or two and meet so many of you in person. Now, we’re thrilled to be turning our attention to one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the season…
New Gins launching at the Orkney Food and Drink Festival!
Where: Kirkwall Grammar School, Orkney
When: 20th and 21st September
The Orkney Food & Drink Festival is set to be a culinary celebration of our islands. The exciting event features cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs such as James Martin, BBC MasterChef 2024 winner Brin Pirathapan, and Great British Bake Off 2023 winner Matty Edgell. Beyond the stage, explore tastings, Q&A sessions, food and drink experiences, and stalls buzzing with local producers showcasing the very best of Orkney Food and Drink. We will be offering a couple of exclusive experiences, with some never-before-seen spirits!

Sips and Stories with Orkney Gin Company, with our brand new gins – Get Your Tickets!
We're hosting our ticketed event, Sips and Stories with Orkney Gin Company, which will take place at 1:15 pm on Saturday and Sunday during the festival, towards the rear of the KGS Hall.
At this intimate tasting experience, you’ll:
Enjoy guided tastings of our brand new gins, our whole range and what we love to pair them with.
Discover the inspirations behind our spirits and bottles—from the wild beauty of Orkney to our traditional distilling methods.
Learn how to make a cocktail using our new spirit and taste.
Hear tales that weave together folklore, craftsmanship, and unforgettable flavours.
We'll be offering you a chance to enter our sweepstake to buy a bottle of our very limited edition new gin - not to be confused with our new Old Tom! There will only be around 20-30 bottles of this available through this special sweepstake, and winners will be selected at random later in the year.

Want to be one of the only people to try our most exclusive gin yet (not the Old Tom)?
We're working hard behind the scenes to have it ready in time, giving everyone who’s booked
onto our special tasting event an exclusive, one-off opportunity to be the very first to try it. This will be the only bottle we open, so we will not be offering samples of this gin again.
Following the festival, we will be releasing this very special, very limited-edition gin — and when we say limited, we mean it. We're just working with numbers, but we believe only around 20-30 bottles will be available directly from us and will be sold to those dedicated to our company.
To keep it fair, we are running a sweepstake to give fans the chance to win the right to buy a bottle. Only a small number of winners will be chosen and emailed with a chance to buy this.
Sign up for the sweepstake will be offered at the Food and Drink Festival, and online nearer the date of the event for those further afield. (Just to be clear – this isn’t a freebie, but a chance to win a slot to purchase a bottle. Bottles will not be available to the public.)
